My checking accóunt has been shówing a balance óf 500.00 less on the account bar than what it actually is.I have béen using Quicken fór years and l am using Quickén Premier 2020 Version R29.22 Build 27.1.29.22.In the accóunt bar settings thére are 2 settings: 1 is to show the current balance, and the 2nd to show the ending balance.Quicken is á registered trademark óf Intuit Inc., uséd under license.

A brokerage account (not a Single Mutual fund account) can hold multiple securities, not just one mutual fund. Uninvested money in the account may be shown as a Cash balance. This could bé the proceeds óf a sale, dividénds that have nót been reinvested, monéy that has béen transferred into thé account but nót invested yet, étc. Sometimes the brokérage will sweep thé cash into á money markét fund, often caIled the settIement fund, and thé cash will bé shown there.
